When designing the mixed-use Building 115 in Seattle, Graham Baba Architects used Pilkington Profilit™ channel glass from Technical Glass Products, insulated with Lumira® aerogel to further enhance energy performance. “Pilkington Profilit helped tie the different elements of the building together; it adds character to a structure made of mostly steel and concrete,” says Jim Graham, principal, Graham Baba Architects. “It lets in light, allows for privacy and is visually interesting day or night.”
