To create a building that is a hybrid of open edges and relies on the interplay of light to reveal creativity, Steven Holl Architects incorporated Pilkington Profilit™ channel glass from Technical Glass Products for select exterior walls of the University of Iowa's Art Building West. Clear window punch outs along the length of the long building façade contrast with the translucent vertical channel glass, which obscure vision but allow light to pass through.
