Center Steps, designed by GGLO, is a luxury apartment complex positioned in downtown Seattle right across from the Seattle Center Park. The recently completed structure incorporates Pilkington Profilit™ OW (Low-Iron) channel glass system from Technical Glass Products, which spans the building’s façade and extends above the roofline. The translucent channel glass system, prepared with a macro dot pattern texture, sandblasted finish and low-iron glass, was designed to guide visitors to the front entrance of the building. The building’s design team also incorporated strategically placed LED lighting which is programmed to light up the front of the building and channel glass feature at night, with an array of vivid colors and patterns.
